In the last article, I introduced some information about Actuator, Stem, chaplet, gasket and closure. Next, I will continue to introduce the remaining 6 parts of the lotion pump. Piston, Sub stem, housing, Spring, Ball and Dip tube!
1. Piston
Piston is usually made of PP material. It has a variety of styles. The piston is one of the most important core components for all pumps. The quality of the piston and the fit between the piston and the Stem directly affect the working effect and pressing feel of the lotion pump.
2. Sub Stem
Sub Stem is usually made of PP material, too. It is in direct contact with the spring, so its stability and support are very important.
3. Housing
The Housing is also made of PP material. The pumping capacity of the lotion pump is determined by the size of the housing. Housing is also a container that contains Stem, Sub stem, piston, spring, and ball. At the same time, it is connected to the closure and dip tube. It can be said that the housing holds most of the parts of the whole lotion pump.
4. Spring
The spring is usually made of 304 Stainless steel . The use of stainless steel springs can avoid rust and contaminate the liquid. The quality of the spring is one of the most important factors in judging the quality of the lotion pump. It will also directly affect the working effect, working life and feel of the lotion pump.
5. Ball
The Ball is also made of glass. The glass ball or steel ball under the spring. The seal here is very important. It is related to the strength of the liquid in the spring cavity. If there is leakage, part of the liquid will leak into the bottle when the pressure handle is pressed. The effect of spraying liquid.
