The Material Of Bottle

The raw materials of our bottles are all environmentally friendly recyclable plastic pellets. Both of them are plastic bottles. There are two kinds of these plastic pellets, PET and HDPE. So we have PET bottle and HDPE bottle . This article will detail the differences between these two materials.

1. PET

   PET, polyethylene terephthalate, is a resin material. In the early days, almost all PET was used for synthetic fibers. Now PET and PBT together as thermoplastic polyester, become one of the five major engineering plastics. PET bottle is a common synthetic resin product in life, which can be divided into APET, RPET and PETG. The chemical properties are stable, can withstand high temperature of 70 degrees, and will not release any toxic substances, and can be used in beverage bottles, various food packaging and cosmetic bottles. Two sets of molds are needed to produce PET bottles. First, the preforms are produced, and then the preforms are blown out through a blow molding machine.

2. HDPE

HDPE, high-density polyethylene resin, can be used to shape plastic products by injection, extrusion, blow molding and rotational molding. Various types of containers, industrial accessories, medical supplies, toys, shells, stoppers and shields can be formed by injection molding; various hollow containers, ultra-thin films, etc. can be formed by blow molding. HDPE has low tensile strength, poor creep resistance, poor environmental stress cracking resistance, and good impact resistance.Only one set of molds is needed to produce HDPE bottles, and the bottles can be blown out directly through the blow molding machine in one step
